This evening, I have three hip-hop remixes to share with you that I’m psyched to drop this week at Flywheel.

Before I share the tracks with you, here are a few pointers and sites to check out if you want to dig for great tunes. Riders ask me daily where I source my music, so I’ve compiled some useful information to make your search easier.

Soundcloud is the most reliable resource online for great remixes. The best part about Soundcloud is that as you follow DJs that you like, the stream on your homepage will get larger and larger and at the same time, will include stuff that is tailored to your taste. Soundcloud also often links to outside sources where you can download the track, and in some cases, you can directly download from the site. If there is no download for a song that you want, here is a hack. Shhh, don’t tell anybody. Copy and past the link to the Soundcloud track HERE and the site will convert the song into a downloadable mp3.

The Hype Machine and Indie Shuffle are two great other sites where you can specify what kind of remixes or new tracks you are looking for.

Soundowl is a basic site, but it pulls from popular tracks online right now (remixes and non-remixes)- so it a great place to find newer stuff. Every song is easily downloadable straight from the site as well.

Here are some tunes to take you into this week.

Happy Listening,
